President Obama s Administrative Goals Essay - 954 Words
Trending Many of President Obamaââ¬â¢s administrative goals were to provide ââ¬Å"economic securityâ⬠for the middle class. First, the goal to revitalize Americaââ¬â¢s economy with jobs in the investment, production, and innovation sectors (Department of Commerce. Bureau of Economic Analysis, 2011). As reported by Kim, the president continues to emphasize manufacturing as part of his economic stance. The building of legislation to increase policies to bring jobs back and keep jobs in America. One of the problems the president deals with in terms of policy making conflicts with US. Officials who believe insourcing should not fall under the government domain. According to the New York Times, governor and mayor use tax breaks, special infrastructure spending approximately 80 million dollars a year to entice business (Story, 2012). First, to stimulate the U.S. economy and grow the manufacturing job market ââ¬Å"The Make It in America Bill H.R. 375 brought incentives to state and city regions to support U.S. manufacturing industry. This grant for 20 million dollars can be used to enhance or entice business, retrain existing manufacturing employees and train new employees, and create and expand export activities. This action represents one of five acts by the government to bring jobs back to America in the manufacturing field by the house democrats. Secondly, ââ¬Å"infrastructure projects, investing in research and skill building initiativesâ⬠puts manufacturing back on the fast track.
